World-class EDC integrated with Oracler Clinical showcased at the OCUG
InferMed’s demonstration of its best of class EDC tool, MACRO, was very well received at the recent Oracle Clinical User Group (OCUG) meeting in Chicago. InferMed’s MD, Andrew Newbigging, said, “With our Clinical Gateway providing a link to Oracle Clinical that is unseen by most users, MACRO provides the best of both worlds for customers: a flexible and user-friendly EDC front end linking to their existing Oracle® Clinical back end.
What is more, these benefits are available NOW! With Clinical Gateway users achieve true consistency between MACRO and Oracle Clinical and enjoy the benefits of automatic real-time data transfer”.
MACRO 3.0 includes many new features and improvements to the data entry user interface, navigation, discrepancy handling and monitoring. The OCUG meeting proved to be a real showcase for this new version of the MACRO software that is already bringing world-class EDC to users of Oracle Clinical.
MACRO is the only independent EDC system that seamlessly integrates metadata, patient data and discrepancies with Oracle Clinical and it is being used successfully in live clinical trials now. With a proven clinical history, the system offers effective two-way data flow with the Oracle Clinical back-end and is already generating high site and internal user satisfaction.
To celebrate the launch of MACRO 3.0, staff from InferMed presented visitors with a USB flash drive containing a presentation of the new features contained in this latest release.
