MACRO chosen by BOC Medical for range of forthcoming studies
Today InferMed is pleased to announce that BOC Medical has selected InferMed’s electronic data collection (EDC) solution MACRO for use in its programme of clinical studies of medical gases and their use in the treatment of respiratory diseases.
BOC Medical is a discrete strategic business unit within the larger BOC Group. Everything from the design of products, to the way in which they are delivered, is unique to BOC Medical and it has a distinct market presence. The product range is designed and sold with patients in mind and the company works in conjunction with local health trusts and health professionals to deliver these products to hospitals.
BOC Medical has a full programme of clinical research to which the implementation of MACRO will add electronic data collection capability. InferMed is pleased to be introducing its technology into BOC Medical and to be enhancing the research activity of a company playing such an important role in this field.
Mark Snell, InferMed’s Marketing Manager, commented, “For InferMed this is an opportunity to be involved in the area of medical gas research for the first time, so it is a very interesting development for us. We are looking forward to establishing a successful working relationship with BOC Medical and to seeing the company fully exploit the benefits of the MACRO technology over the coming months and years.”
