InferMed sponsors Health Informatics Society of Ireland Meeting
InferMed today announced that it would be sponsoring the 10th anniversary meeting of the Health Informatics Society of Ireland (HISI). The meeting is to opened by the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern.
The tenth annual meeting of the Health Informatics Society of Ireland is being held at the Stillorgan Park Hotel on the 16th/17th November. "InferMed is pleased to be able to be one of the commercial sponsors of the event" said Robert Dunlop, InferMed's Clinical Director. "As the evidence base available for the treatment of conditions grows, the need for a clear and concise way of presenting that information to clinicians to help improve patient outcomes is constantly strengthened. InferMed is committed to working with the experts and day to day praticioners to bring this about"
Dr Dunlop will be making a presentation at 3pm on the Thursday afternoon, entitled Decision Support and the Knowledge Economy. Prof John Fox of Cancer Research UK, one of InferMed's founders, will also be taking part in a panel discussion on Clinical Decision Support on the Wednesday morning.
