High customer satisfaction leads to continued growth at InferMed

InferMed today proudly announced that referrals and recommendations from existing customers were instrumental in the decision of 90% of new customers to purchase MACRO - InferMed’s electronic data capture (EDC) system, during 2005.

In recent months, InferMed has finalised agreements for use of MACRO with a wide range of commercial and academic organisations including:

  • CRUK & UCL Cancer Trials Centre
  • Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College
  • National Blood Service
  • Northern Ireland Clinical Research Centre
  • INSERM
  • Kompetenznetz Hepatitis (Network of Competence for Viral Hepatitis)

In addition, InferMed has also initiated projects to develop interfaces between MACRO and hospital patient record systems. The first pilot is expected to go live in December 2005.

Managing Director of Clinical Research, Andrew Newbigging, commented “to achieve such a high percentage of our new sales as a direct result of existing customers satisfaction is extremely pleasing, particularly when considered in light of the high level of growth we are experiencing as a whole. A strong relationship with the customer is at the heart of everything we do at InferMed and this figure is testament to both the quality of service we provide and the quality of our MACRO software. We are constantly working to ensure that this high level of customer satisfaction continues and look forward to equally encouraging results in the future”.
