MACRO contains bi-directional communication tools that enable effective communication and query resolution between the data entry personnel and data reviewers. They facilitate effective data management and remote study monitoring, either in the central data repository or on local databases.

Remote study monitoring features include:

Source Data Verification (SDV) marks can be created at question, form, visit and subject level. Each SDV mark can indicate that SDV is planned, queried, done or cancelled. Icons on eForms and the schedule indicate where SDV marks have been made.
