Alan Montgomery - Chairman

Dr. Montgomery joined InferMed Ltd as Chairman of the Board in 2009. In 1989 he founded Integral Solutions Limited (ISL) in a management buyout from SD-Scicon (EDS), becoming CEO and majority owner and also CEO of ISL Decision Systems Inc. (1996-99). He successfully sold both companies to SPSS in 1999. ISL became the world’s leading vendor of interactive data mining systems. While at ISL he managed the project with Professor Fox that researched the technology underlying Arezzo. Having exited ISL, Dr Montgomery was the largest investor in the launch of InferMed as a joint venture with Cancer Research. Previously he managed software development teams at ICL. Dr Montgomery is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and of the Royal Society of Arts. He was a member of the industrial college of the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. He has degrees in Physics from Oxford and Sussex Universities.

Duane Lawrence - Chief Executive

Duane joined the Board of InferMed in May 2007. A business and finance graduate of the University Of Notre Dame in the U.S.A., Duane has a track record spanning almost 2 decades in healthcare solution sales and management. Prior to taking over as CEO of InferMed Duane was General Manager of Misys Healthcare Systems, International Ltd with responsibility for the company’s operations outside of North America. Based in the UK since 2003 Mr Lawrence brings with him in-depth experience in business acquisition, exploring and developing new markets, product management, sales & marketing, implementation and customer service components of clinically based technology solutions across both GP practice and hospital based acute care settings. Having worked with technology solutions within clinical organisations across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Duane has an experienced global view on using technology to improve patient care.

Robert Dunlop - Clinical Director

Robert Dunlop was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 1986. Robert has responsibility for developing decision support applications with Arezzo. Robert has an extensive clinical background in general internal medicine and palliative care, having worked in several major London teaching hospitals and at St Christopher's Hospice. Before joining InferMed, Robert had been involved in developing knowledge bases and clinical decision support applications with the Advanced Computation Laboratory, Cancer Research UK

Linda Montgomery - Financial Director

Linda Montgomery joined InferMed Ltd as financial director in September 2009. Linda brings considerable experience in this role, having spent 10 years as Company Secretary and Finance Director to Integral Solutions Ltd (ISL). During this time, Linda also served as Marketing Manager and managed the worldwide network of distributors for ISL. She has a B.A. Hons. (Oxon.) degree and a M.A. degree.

Roger Wallhouse - Non Executive Director

Roger joined InferMed Ltd as Chairman of the Board in 2000 and is, from September 2009, Non Executive Director. A seasoned IT executive Roger has over four decades of IT industry experience with the latter three decades spent in the Health IT sector specifically. Between 1983 and 1998 Roger helped set up and manage SMS European operations and rose to become CEO of Northern Europe, UK, Ireland, Benelux. In his roles he effected organisational turnaround from a loss producing organisation to multi million profit producing organisation and established new operations/distributors in Scandinavia, Middle East and South Africa,. In addition he undertook numerous acquisitions in UK and Benelux. Roger formed his own consulting practice in 1998 with the aim of focusing on Strategic engagements with Health IT suppliers. The company remains a very successful entity today – more than ten years after its inception. Roger is also Chairman of Stalis ltd.
