The 2008 International MACRO User Group meeting took place in Lisbon on the 20th and 21th of February 2008 at the Pestana Palace Hotel.

The dynamic agenda included many organisational improvements that have taken place at InferMed since the last event as well as the items requested by clients:

• Important guidance on software & database updates required for the transition from MACRO v3 to v4
• Stimulating sessions on integration with complementary systems, including pharmacovigilance
• Discover how InferMed is supporting adaptive trial designs
• Ascertain the value of extended clinical data through data sharing and integration with electronic health records and population studies
