InferMed announces record results

InferMed Ltd, a leading provider of advanced software solutions for clinical research has announced a record 2006 trading year performance, reporting a 41% increase in revenues achieving its second straight year of profitability.

In reporting this performance InferMed’s executive chairman said, “Over the past three years the company has achieved a sustained growth and profit performance arising from increased usage of our products by existing and a growing number of new customers internationally.”

The record results also reflect the increasing strength of InferMed’s market position through strategic alliances which it has formed with Siemens AG in Germany and NNIT in Denmark allowing the wider distribution and hosting of InferMed’s products globally.

Recently the company Frost and Sullivan selected InferMed to receive the prestigious award for the Company’s demonstration of superior entrepreneurial ability, excellence in decision support, and the significant market potential of its unique products; MACRO and AREZZO.

InferMed was formed in 1999, when it was spun out of work from Imperial Cancer Research (now Cancer Research UK) Advanced Computational Laboratory, with the mission to commercialise highly advanced software technology developed for clinical research and practice. Since then, the company has developed two lead products; MACRO, which is an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) solution for clinical research, and AREZZO, which provides clinicians with the technology to deliver clinical guidelines and protocols, improving diagnosis and treatment.
